作者简介:

泰戈尔(1861~1941)泰戈尔出生于孟加拉。但人们一致认为他是印度人。因为泰戈尔在世时孟加拉还是属于印度的。

评价:

印度孟加拉诗人,作家,艺术家,社会活动家,是向西方介绍印度文化和把西方文化介绍到印度的很有影响的人物。

生平 :

1861年5月7日生于西孟加拉邦加尔各答市,1941年8月7日卒于同地。家庭属于商人兼地主,婆罗门种姓。他于1907年退出运动回圣地尼克坦,过隐居生活,埋头创作。1913年,他因英文版《吉檀迦利》荣获诺贝尔文学奖,他始终关心世界政治和人民命运,传播和平友谊,从事文化交流,支持人类的正义事业。

创作 :

泰戈尔共写了50多部诗集,12部中长篇小说,100余篇短篇小说,20多部剧本,大量关于文学、哲学、政治方面的论著,还创作了1500余幅画和2000余首歌曲,其中1首为印度国歌。 泰戈尔的诗集用英文出版的大致有:园丁集、吉檀枷利、新月集、采果集、飞鸟集。

自从 《飞鸟集》出版之后,中国诗坛上一种表现随感的短诗就流行了起来。如冰心作的《繁星》,《春水》等。其中许多带有哲理,这种晶莹清丽的小诗赢得了不少人的喜爱。

《飞鸟集》既可译为游荡之鸟的诗,也可理解为漂泊者之歌。诗集开篇便点题明意:“夏天的飞鸟,飞到我的窗前鸣歌,又飞去了。”(之一首)“世界上的一对小小的漂泊者呀。请留下你们的足印在我的文字里。”(第二首)可见《飞鸟集》意味着泰戈尔心灵漂泊----思维运动的历程,艺术地传递出诗人对世态人生的探讨,对理想境界的企望。

《飞鸟集》的诗大部分只有一两行,极少数是三四行。有人说,这是泰戈尔受日本俳句影响而作的。诗人把这些小题为《飞鸟集》,意在用这些描叙南来北往的漂泊者的长途跋涉的诗句,把自己比作寻求理想境界的“永恒的旅客”,记录自己的行程。因此,在一两行的诗句中,往往捕捉一个自然景物,叙说一个素理,犹如空中的闪电,海波的泛光,夕阳的余辉,黎明的暗影,给人一种鲜明的印象,蕴藏一种深奥的哲理。虽然诗中表现的是一刹那的印象,或瞬息万变的心里想空中飞鸟没有足印的行程,诗人似见非见,若有若无,虚无缥缈,难以捉摸,但只要我们紧紧扣住诗人的基本哲学思想和社会观,这部诗集中的哲理内容还是可以理解的。
